Central Connect joins the Vectare Family

8 months ago Thu 7th Sep 2023

Vectare are delighted to confirm that, following a recent acquisition, the Central Connect bus network will be joining the Vectare Essex family.

There'll be no immediate changes, and you'll still see the same red and blue coloured Central Connect buses and the same drivers, but behind the scenes we're working on some exciting plans to make buses across north-west Essex and Hertfordshire better.

The first thing we're doing is merging our social media accounts, so the Central Connect Twitter and Facebook pages will no longer be operational. Instead, please follow our Vectare Essex pages where our combined operational teams will be posting regular updates if there is service disruption. You can also contact us via social media if you need support, or email our customer services team at contact@vectare.co.uk.

Over time we will begin the process of merging the Vectare and Central Connect bus networks, and this will include the creation of a brand new, great value combined ticketing range and high quality promotional material. However, for now, ticketing options remain unchanged, and initially Central Connect and Vectare tickets will not be valid on each other's buses. In the short term, if you need to travel on Vectare and Central Connect buses, consider using an Essex Saver ticket.
