Essex - Central Connect - Service Disruption

We are investing in the Central Connect fleet and replacing older buses with newer ones, including ten buses due for delivery in late 2023, which have now started to enter the fleet, and a further 15 brand new buses due for delivery in mid 2024.

This page will be updated daily with service information to help passengers plan ahead for their journey with Central Connect.

From Saturday 25th November 2023 until further notice

Following the successful introduction into service of additional vehicles, a normal service is currently planned to operate on all Central Connect routes.

Buses may still be affected by short notice breakdowns, traffic congestion and other operational incidents. Updates will be posted here where possible.
