Term & Academic Year passes will continue to be available for U19s on Service R4 via the myTrip app. Autumn Term & Academic year passes will be available on sale from the 1st of August.

Service 24 (24X)

New Service 24 follows the same route as previous Service 23A and will provide a regular daytime service between Peterborough City Centre and Lynch Wood via Woodston, Orton Mere & Orton Waterville. Buses will generally run from 6am until 8pm Monday-Friday.

A small number of journeys each day will operate numbered 24X and will not serve Orton Waterville. These journeys will operate direct along Oundle Road.

One journey in each direction is timed to provide links from Peterborough City Centre and Woodston to Nene Park Academy. Term & Academic Year passes will be available for U19s via the myTrip app. Autumn Term & Academic year passes will be available on sale from the 1st of August.

East Midlands

Novus Direct

We're making changes to the Novus Direct route in Leicester City Centre. The City Loop will be reversed with buses operating in an anti-clockwise loop from St Nicholas Circle > Royal Infirmary Hospital > Station > St Margaret's Bus Station > St Nicholas Circle. This is designed to provide more accessible links for passengers using Leicester Station and Jubilee Square.

There will be some minor changes to the timetable to accommodate the revised route.

We'll also be ending our £2 single fare promotion. This was introduced on a commercial basis as we are ineligible for the national government scheme which has been reimbursing other operators. Unfortunately it is no longer viable for us to continue offering this discount. However we will be setting out flat single fare at a £2.50 rather than returning it to the original price of £3.00. For passengers travelling regularly we'll be adding a 3-month ticket to our product range, available from the myTrip app. This will be priced at £170 for adults (from £2.83 per day*) and £119 for U19s (from £1.98 per day*).

Novus Fosse

New service Novus Fosse is introduced to replace Novus Flex and Novus Retail. The service will operate to a conventional fixed route and timetable seven days a week. Buses will operate in a clockwise loop from Fosse Park, Sainsburys > Brockington College (Enderby) > Next HQ (Enderby) > New Lubbesthorpe > Thorpe Astley* > Meridian Business Park > Fosse Park, Sainsburys.

Buses will generally run every 30 minutes as follows:

  • From approx 0730-2130 on weekdays.
  • From approx 0830-2030 on Saturdays.
  • From approx 1000-2030 on Sundays.

During the early morning periods some journeys may operate short between Fosse Park and New Lubbesthorpe only.

Single fares will be charged at a flat rate of £2.50 (£2.00 for U19s). Day, Group and Season passes will be available and will be valid on both Novus Fosse and Novus Direct allowing interchange in New Lubbesthorpe and Thorpe Astley between both routes.

On Saturday evenings we'll also be providing a single 'Night' journey from Leicester at 2355 numbered 2N.
