Newark Cycle Race

On Friday 28th July the Newark Cycle Race is taking place and this means Lombard Street and Newark Bus Station will be closed off from approximately 1400 onwards. This will cause disruption to Service 90. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Buses will operate as normal up to and including the 1302 departure from Lombard Street then:

Service 90 after 1400

Towards Newark

Buses will operate their normal route as far as the Boundary Road stop (Spring House) on Victoria Street. Buses will then divert via Boundary Road and Bowbridge Road and will terminate at the stop named Beaumond Gardens on London Road (opposite the Bowling Green and ASDA Garage). Stops named Princes Street, Albert Street and Lombard Street won't be served. 

Towards Nottingham

Buses will commence from the Beaumond Gardens stop on London Road (opposite the Bowling Green and ASDA Garage). Passengers from Newark Town Centre may alternatively board at the Albert Street bus stop on Portland Street.

Service 90C after 1400

Towards Fernwood

Buses will operate their normal route as far as the Albert Street stop on Portland Street and will then turn right onto London Road. The Lombard Street stops will not be served and passengers should use Albert Street or Beaumond Gardens as an alternative.
