NUH Phoenix Park Staff Shuttle

Nottingham University Hospitals, in partnership with Vectare, a local transport solutions provider, and Nottingham Express Transit are delighted to announce the launch of the Phoenix Park Staff Shuttle Bus from Monday 12th June 2023.

Buses will run every 30 minutes from Phoenix Park to City Hospital between 06:00 and 11:00 on weekdays, with return buses running every 30 minutes between 15:00 and 20:00 and are FREE for NUH staff to use. The timetable can be viewed in full at the bottom of this page.

There will be a bus waiting at Phoenix Park at all times, so NUH staff can board their bus whatever time they arrive, rather than waiting outside for the bus to turn up. An NUH ID badge will be required to permit travel.

Passengers needing support with their journey can contact Vectare on 0115 777 3187 or contact@vectare.co.uk.

Where do I catch my bus at Phoenix Park?

Buses pick up and drop off at Phoenix Park at the Phoenix Park Interchange bus stop (Stop CI30). This is right next to the Phoenix Park tram stop and the NET Park and Ride car park. Buses will show "City Hospital Phoenix Park Shuttle Bus" on the front. In partnership with NET, NUH staff are allowed to park considerately in the NET Park and Ride if they use the Tram or this shuttle service.

Where do I catch my bus at City Hospital?

Buses operate a one-way loop around the City Hospital site, serving all bus stops shown on the map below. If you want to get on the bus, please signal clearly to the driver as it approaches and show your NUH ID badge on entry.

What times will the service operate?

Buses run on Mondays to Fridays, except for on Bank Holidays. There is no service at the weekend.

The first bus departs Phoenix Park at 06:00, and departures are then every half an hour until 11:00. Buses then return from City Hospital, South Entrance from 15:14 every half an hour until the last bus at 20:12.
