Additional Essex Services
Alongside our core networks Vectare also operate a small number of services towards the west of Essex centred around Brentwood & Blackmore (61/62) and Wickford (8/10). You can find a summary of these services below:
Service 8
Service 8 provides a daily commuter journey six mornings a week from Rettendon and Runwell villages into Wickford Station with an early evening return.

Service 10
Service 10 provides a handy links six days a week between Wickford and Basildon Hospital via Downham, Ramsden Heath, Ramsden Bellhouse, Crays Hill and Basildon town centre. A small number of journeys also extend from Wickford around the Beauchamps Estate and on to Shotgate.

Service 61
Service 61 links the communities of Blackmore, Hook End, Wyatts Green and Doddinghurst with Brentwood town centre every hour, six days a week. Peak time journeys (numbered 61C) also extend to Brentwood Station providing a convenient link to the Elizabeth Line and central London!

Service 62
Service 62 provides a limited early morning and early evening service between Blackmore and Chelmsford City via Highwood, Edney Common and Writtle, connecting with Service 61C to provide through journeys opportunities to/from Brentwood.

Fares
Passengers using Services 8 & 10 can use our West Essex Day ticket at just £5 for unlimited travel across both routes. A range of season tickets and group tickets are also available and full details can be found by clicking the individual route links above or visiting our Buy Tickets page, which allows tickets to be purchase for use on the myTrip mobile app. We also offer town tickets for Wickford and Basildon respectively.

Travelling all across Essex by Bus?
We also sell and accept Essex Saver tickets on all our local buses within Essex. Priced at £10 this allows unlimited travel almost every local bus in the County (some school and airport services are excluded).
