Chelmsford Park&Ride
Vectare are proud to operate the Chelmsford Park&Ride services on behalf of Essex County Council. Services 701 and 702 operate a frequent timetable six days a week from two sites on the edge of Chelmsford.
Sandon 701
Located just off junction 18 of the A12, Sandon is served by Route 701 with buses operating up to every 7 minutes into Chelmsford at peak times. Within the City buses operate a loop from the Parkway to Victoria Road South (for Service 702 to Anglia Ruskin University & Chelmer Valley) to Duke Street (for the Station & Cathedral) to High Chelmer (for City Centre Retail & Leisure) to Job Centre back to Parkway.
Weekday Service Summary
- First departure at 06:30
- Every 7-8mins at peak times
- Every 15mins off-peak and into the early evening
- Last City departure at 19:27 (from Parkway)
Saturday Service Summary
- First departure at 07:00
- Every 15mins throughout the day.

Chelmer Valley 702
Located to the north of the City off the A131, Chelmer Valley is served by Route 702 with buses operating up to every 10 minutes into Chelmsford via Anglia Ruskin University. Within the City buses operate a loop from Chelmsford Station to Duke Street (for the Cathedral) to High Chelmer (for City Centre Retail & Leisure) to Job Centre (for 701 to Sandon) to Parkway to Victoria Road South back to Chelmsford Station

Fares
Park&Ride fares are just £3 per person all day with Under-19 discounts, group tickets and a flexible use 12-for-11 ticket all available. Full fare information is available by clicking the route links for each service and selecting the farechart from the PDF dropdown.
Sadly we're not able to offer mobile tickets for the Chelmsford Park&Ride network. All tickets need to be purchased on board the bus.
