Ting by Vectare

Ting operates in partnership with the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) to provide demand responsive journeys in West Huntingdonshire centred around the towns of St Neots and Huntingdon. You can find our service area map below:

Ting Operating Area

Ting Fares

We operate a very simple fare structure on Ting with all adult journeys priced at £2.00 and all Under-19 journeys priced at £1.00.

Children Under-5 are welcome to travel for free when travelling with an adult passenger.

English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (Concessionary) passes are accepted on the service between 09:30 and 23:00 Monday-Friday and at all times on Saturdays.

We also accept Cambridgeshire Multibus tickets on Ting. Sadly you can't buy these on board just yet but this is a feature coming soon. In the meantime Multibus tickets can be purchased via the myTrip or by clicking here.

Ting Service Times

Buses on Ting operate every Monday-Saturday except bank holiday Mondays. First pick-ups are available from 06:00 each day with last drop-offs by 20:00.

Travelling with young children on Ting

Our Ting service operates with a mixture of eight and 16 seat minibuses. We do not provide child seats on board, as every child is different, and it would be impossible to provide child seats to meet every requirement. Parents are welcome to bring their own child seats if they wish, but please note that responsibility for fitting these rests with the parent; our drivers cannot assist with this. We cannot guarantee that the vehicles we operate will have seats suitable for a childseat to be fitted. Please note that there is no legal requirement for a child to use a car seat when travelling in a minibus. Children aged three or older must use an adult seat belt if travelling without a car seat. All vehicles used on Ting are fully fitted with seatbelts at every seat.

Booking Ting

As Ting works on a demand-responsive basis, passengers are required to prebook their journeys. Details of journey availability is shown below.

To make a booking simply call our team on 0115 777 3187 or by download the Vectare DRT app on your smartphone by visiting the Apple app store or Google play store

Cancellations

Unfortunately we are unable to refund journeys if you choose to cancel them after booking.

Please be advised that our Passenger Promise scheme covers our Ting DRT service, but only if you have a confirmed booking for the service which subsequently gets cancelled for operational reasons. If you are unable to make a booking because the service is fully booked at the time that you wish to travel, you are not able to reclaim costs via Passenger Promise.
