Vect-Air Express 90

Nottinghamshire transport provider Vectare recently announced that they would take over operating bus route number 90 between Nottingham and Newark from Sunday 16th April 2023, following the news that Marshalls of Sutton on Trent were withdrawing the service. Since Vectare announced their intention to operate the service, a number of passengers have made us aware that the service might be quite busy, especially at rush hour, so our Commercial team have been hard at work making sure there are enough seats for everybody.

As such, we're delighted to announce that our sister company, Vect-Air, will be launching a NEW Fosseway Flyer helicopter service between Nottingham and Newark, at peak times only, to supplement the executive minibuses we'll be using on route 90.

Vect-Air's modern fleet of state-of-the-art bus-copters will pick up from Newark Bus Station, providing a quick air transfer to the brand new Broadmarsh Bus Station in Nottingham. Three departures every morning will start from the large field adjacent to Goldstraw Lane in Fernwood, with two return journeys each evening extending back to Fernwood as well. All departures will be non-stop from Newark town centre to Nottingham, allowing commuters to miss the congestion of the busy city roads as they fly across the clear Nottinghamshire skies.

You can catch the service from Broadmarsh and Newark bus station rooftops, and a smooth 45-minute flight will see you safely land at your destination, having been taken in by the picturesque views of the River Trent and the Fosse Way. Vect-Air's Flight Operations Official Lead, Joe King, said "We've been aware that Nottingham to Newark is a destination pair that's been missing from the East Midlands domestic air travel market for some time now, but our policy is not to compete with existing bus services for sustainability reasons. We're delighted to be able to work in partnership with the local bus industry instead, making extra seats available on the busy Fosseway Flyer corridor to ensure a comfortable commute for all.
